The Children of Governor Pyrial Andarkis (in order of age, from eldest to youngest):
Lady Edrallia Andarkis, First Born
Lady Edrallia Andarkis is often thought of as a pompous ass. She does not fight this image, instead choosing to play to the stereotype as applied to her by those within Tairos’s political court. She is the eldest of Pyrial’s children, and believes herself to be the only one worthy of the governorship after her father’s passing. Truth is, in the absence of a formal declaration of succession, Edrallia is the one with the strongest claim.
This does not mean that her other siblings, especially Janwyr, will allow her the position without a fight.
Edrallia is the formal commander of all of Tairos’s armed forces, and, because of her position, can also draw resources directly from Terra. If the need arises, Edrallia boasts the ability to call upon the aide of the Emperor’s finest warriors. As her wayward siblings all convene around the their father’s deathbed, will that call be made?

Overseer Janwyr Andarkis
In the later years of Pyrial Andarkis’s life, Janwyr was one of the few of the Andarkis siblings to remain at his father’s side. One of the many ‘middle children’ of the house, Janwyr excelled at reading the politics of the world and advising his father on the correct course to take. Often times, towards the end of Pyrial’s reign, Janwyr was the one planting the decisions in his father’s ear.
Janwyr is unliked by most of the court of Tairos, and is especially hated by his brothers and sisters. Growing up, Janwyr was always the one who took advantage of his siblings, leading to the long held animosity across the family. Indeed, many believe that Janwyr is the direct reason for both Ny’Allia and Skaln leaving the world entirely. He denies this, of course.
Despite being in the right position to command majority of Tairos’s planetary forces, very little of Tairos’s miltary owes any sort of allegiance to him. Whether this is due to Janwyr’s personality, or due to his elder sister’s claims that Janwyr actually poisoned their father, is unknown. Because of this, however, it is believed that Janwyr has found it necessary to seek allies off-world.

Haleyna Andarkis
Often referred to as the ‘Sister of Faith’, Haleyna is the spiritual leader of most of Tairos’s civilian population. Her dedication to the Imperial Cult and Creed are inspiration to many, even her siblings. However, Haleyna was not always as devout as she is now. She spent much of her life in the Tairos court, learning how to ‘play the game’ as many often said. She grew skilled at manipulating her peers and had few troubles getting her way when she truly desired something.
It was relatively late in her life, after her brother, Kellor, vanished during a diplomatic trip off-world, that she began to study the Imperial Creed. Kellor and Haleyna had always been close, as she often saw herself as his surrogate mother. She prayed to the Emperor to protect her younger brother and to see him safely back to Tairos. If this would happen, she offered, she would live the rest of her life in deeper service to the Emperor. It was, to her, a worthy sacrifice: the potential of her life in exchange for Kellor’s.
Within the year, Kellor was found and returned to the family safely, and Haleyna’s faith in the Emperor blossomed. She began working closely with the Ecclesiarchy and the Adeptus Terra, making good on the promises of her prayers. Since that day, Haleyna has been one of the most dutiful of her siblings.
Sister Haleya Andarkis does not formally command any military assets like her siblings. However, her connections to the Ecclesiarchy and to other branches of the Imperium means that she can call upon some of the more dedicated of the Emperor’s might.

Skaln Andarkis
Skaln left Tairos many years ago. The nature of his travels were never made public, but it is believed that he, like his sister, Ny’Allia, desired to get out of local Imperium politics and instead see the galaxy. Skaln is cut from rougher stone than most of his siblings, and this has served him well among the savage galaxy. He is tall, broad shouldered, and strong. He has never been accused of being subtle. Indeed, few people are willing to accuse Skaln of anything, as he commands decent amount of respect, often through sheer physical intimidation.
Skaln has built close ties with the the Vlka Fenryka and other Imperium commanders. He also commands a respectable faction of the planetary defense force on Tairos itself, though he rarely chooses to call upon their support. When he learned of his father’s passing, however, Skaln made it a priority to return home.

Father Mamoneth Andarkis, aka “Father Mamo”
Mamoneth is often referred to as the ‘forgotten son’. He was never a handsome child, and was often overlooked in favor of his other siblings. He had a strong desire to get involved in the world’s politics, but was never granted the opportunity to participate. He never understood why those of his siblings who hated the court were forced to participate while he was repeatedly denied.
Because of this isolation, Mamoneth eventually chose to involve himself in the deeper, darker sections of the world. Rising to power in the underhive of Tairos, ‘Brother Mamo’ as he came to be known, satisfied himself in the power that came from coordinating the organized crime beneath the planet’s clean exterior. He eventually took over most of the crime rings and began to make use of his lordly connections to keep everything running smoothly, declaring himself ‘Father Mamo’, instead.
On the surface, Mamoneth became the coordinator for most of Tairos’s industrial capacity. Striking a deal with Lord Helmawr of Necromunda, Mamoneth orchestrated the largest transplant of worker population in Tairos’s history, bringing millions of Necromundans to Tairos in an exchange of labor forces. This has lead to an uprising in gang culture beneath the hive cities, a situation believed to be wholly intentional.
Rumors are strong that many of the Enforcer precincts have long been in Mamo’s pocket. This keeps Father Mamo’s organizations running smoothly. However, there are also whispers of other alliances made deep within the depths below Tairos’s cities–alliances that reach out beyond the planetary court. Obfuscated records suggest that Father Mamo has traveled off Tairos and to one of the distant planets in-system on more than one occasion, at the head of a large fleet of freighters. The cargo being carried out has never been identified.

Magos Leegan Andarkis
Leegan looked up to her younger sister, Ny’Allia–not because of age, but because of personality. Leegan was always the meekest of the daughters. She preferred to remain nestled among her books and in her workshop, rarely engaging the public in any fashion. This made her position within the political court a weak one–a position that she never minded. However, it was Ny’Allia’s outgoing personality, and her talks of one day leaving Tairos, that inspired Leegan to desire the same for herself.
Thus, she did. A few years after Ny’Allia left Tairos, so did Leegan. However, whereas Ny’Allia made an attempted pilgrimmage to Holy Terra and explored to the eastern fringe, Leegan took the most efficient route to the nearest Forge World: Genesol.
What Leegan faced while on Genesol is known only to her. However, upon her father’s death, Leegan emerged from her isolation on the Forge World and returned to Tairos. Now known as Magos Leegan, she seeks to re-establish the Mechanicus on Tairos and uncover a secret from the ancient days of the Horus Heresy.

Walth Andarkis
Like Leegan, Walth Andarkis always preferred the solitude of his books and data slates over the petty machinations of Tairos court politics. He left his family’s palace early in life, choosing to explore the surface of Tairos. The Ashes–the area of land still scarred by the Burning of Tairos ten millenia ago–were said to contain buried secrets and artifacts long forgotten by most citizens on the world. These rumors fed Walth’s curiosity.
Walth discovered many things in the Ashes. Some of these he peddled down in the underhive, working within his elder brother, Mamo’s, organizational restrictions. While Walth never quite agreed with Mamo’s path in life, he did not judge him for it, either. A brother was a brother.
A few years prior to Lord Pyrial’s death, Walth was said to have discovered something monumental beneath the surface of Tairos. However, he vanished shortly after his declaration, leaving the details of his discovery an utter mystery. Some believe that Mamoneth had his brother eliminated, but Father Mamo’s sorrow and worry over his missing sibling seemed utterly genuine.
It was not until recently, after their father’s death, that Walth has reappeared. He still claims to bear a secret that could upset Tairos entirely…

Kellor Andarkis
Kellor took to the Tairos court naturally. He was a charismatic young man, but had a strong streak of naivety that often got him into trouble with other nobles. Because of this, his older sister, Haleyna, took him under her wing. She helped to guide him during the day-to-day political maneuverings and educated him on the knowledge necessary to survive without falling prey to someone else’s power grabs.
He appreciated Haleyna’s guidance, and the two became close. Of all the Andarkis children, Kellor and Haleyna are the only two who ever displayed any kind of normal sibling affection. This was why Haleyna was devastated when Kellor vanished aboard a rogue trader vessel known as the Somnus Pax en route back to Tairos. Astropathic transmissions indicated that the ship’s gellar field failed during Warp translation, and all aboard were believed to be lost.
However, a few months later, the Somnus Pax translated into the Tairos system as if nothing had happened. Haleyna was ecstatic at her brother’s return, and she dedicated herself fully to promoting the Imperial Creed. The Emperor returned her brother to the family from the clutches of the Warp itself. Kellor’s return was a blessing.
While Haleyna went on to pursue her deeper duties of faith, Kellor found himself haunted by the encounter aboard the Somnus Pax. He, and the rest of the ship’s passengers and crew, were tight-lipped about what transpired aboard the vessel. Something had happened to them, and they were the only ones who knew about it.
After Lord Pyrial’s death, Kellor unexpectedly put in a bid for his father’s position as planetary governor. He threatened to march upon the planetary capital with his army behind him. However, no one knew from where this new army had come.

Ny’Allia Andarkis, aka “Mistress Allia”
The youngest daughter of the house, Ny’Allia Andarkis was always an adventurous spirit. She never enjoyed the dull restrictions of political maneuvering, and never believed that she had the talent for it. Because of this, N’Allia was the first of the Andarkis children to leave Tairos. She wandered towards the eastern fringe of the galaxy, but not before attempting to make a pilgrimage to Holy Terra. Whether or not she was successful is still a mystery.
Ny’Allia has spent the most time away from Tairos when compared to her siblings, but she was one of the first to return when the news of her father’s death reached her. Some say that she knew of his passing long before any of the others–indeed, perhaps long before it had happened. Between this and the mystery of her time on the eastern fringe, some claim that Mistress Allia has fallen into close contact with various xenos races. This is not an accusation she has ever denied…

Lord Bremen Andarkis
Lord Bremen is the youngest of the male Andarkis heirs. Truthfully, however, Bremen is not blood related to House Andarkis, but is attached through the marriage of his father to a cousin of the family. He has, however, willingly and successfully inserted himself into the politics of the house.
Bremen’s personality is often said to be bright and warm. He is always polite, and one never feels as though his manners are a tactic for manipulation. Most genuinely believe that Bremen is, as was once a common phrase, “just a nice guy.” He has also proven very adept at running various planetary affairs under the watchful eye of Edrallia Andarkis. Much to Edrallia’s irritation, there have been notable whispers claiming that Bremen would have been appointed successor to Pyrial Andarkis, had he not died as quickly as he had. Pyrial’s approval of a writ of adoption supports this idea.
Militarily, Bremen commands the loyalties of at least half of Tairos’s standing army. In addition, he also has ties to various chapters of the Adeptus Astartes and Imperial Guard regiments. Most recently, he has been seen in the company of emissaries from the Dark Angels.
